Hooray for Progress

January 2010 in 3rd Trimester

I had my 40 week appt (a day early) and I had been at 2 cm / 50% effaced for three weeks. Today I am 3.5 cm and 80% effaced. Hooray, the doc says he doesn't think I'll make it to the induction date we set for Feb 1st. Hopefully our little girl will make her appearance soon.

I'm sorry...I have no tips. I haven't tried any of the old wives tales. I don't know why I haven't tried anything...I guess I was skeptical.

That's great! Sending labor dust your way!!
Last Tuesday I was 3cm, 50% effaced and my OB didn't think I'd make it through the weekend.
Now here I sit...still waiting =(
