I am a little bias ....but I LOVE The name Addison. Even though its "popular" we dont know any little girls with that name. AND I work at a daycare, and only have 1 little girl that has that name....but it is spelled differently. AND we get compliments on dd's name all the time....I say go for Addison!!! Very cute name with Rose!
This. I would pick Sophia of the two--I think it's lovely. It's one of those popular names that I totally understand the popularity of--why not love a gentle, classic, fun-yet-sophisticated name?
I think both names are really popular right now. I know 3 ppl who have named their LO Addison is the last yr. If I had to pick though it would be that one.

I named my daughter Addison 8 years ago after my great grandmother's grandfather. I am very disappointed at how popular it has become recently because of Grey's Anatomy. I think you should pick Sophia.
Babywearing, cloth diapering, formula and breastmilk feeding, still can't believe I'm a mom, momma to my little man, two furbabies, and two angel babies.
My vote is for Addison! I only know one LO named that and I fell in love with that name when I heard it.
I like the name Sophie/Sophia, but 3 of my friends named their dogs that name, so I don't think I could ever use it now -though it's a beautiful name! Hate it when people who use human names for pets lol!
Re: sophia or addison
I know it is super popular, but I despise the name Sophia/Sophie.
I love Addison though.
Addison Rose is beautiful!
Although, and I am not sure if this matters to you, her initials would be
A.R.M.
Still, a very pretty name!
I'm partial to Sophia.
I chose her name when I was 6 and thank god my DH agreed to using it! lol
I wasn't budging on it though! haha
You suck!
I pick Sophia. I'm not a fan of girl names that end in -son. Except for Allison.

Sophia
Addison is a boys name.
Agreed.
Exactly this!
I'm LOL-ing at this. My dog has Addison's Disease. It's not so creepy for her. She just gets a shot once a month.

I like both names, but they're both way too popular, imo.
