for you- an ex friend/bf's name, it's used by someone you know, rhymes with something bad/funny, etc. Name the name and why you
can't use it!

i don't have any names i am absolutely stuck on but i did like the name Savannah but dh objected b/c that was the name of a famous porn star that committed suicide
so that name went out the window.
i like the name Kyle but that was my exboyfriends' name so that is not happening either.
That's awesome! Dana Kalamazoo has a ring to it- you should just start calling her that and maybe it will catch on!
For me, I really wanted to name Eva, Lorelei but DH thought it sounded "hick". I also loved Charlotte with the nickname Lottie after my grandmother but both DH and my mom hated it (and it was her mom!).
Graham, b/c it does NOT go with our last name. I keep saying it, hoping it will, but I just don't think it does. Plus, MN is 1 syllable, last name is 1 syllable, it just doesn't flow well at all.
Hopefully, this one is a girl, cause I can't find any boy names I like.
I loved AJ from when I was a teenager. Then I met DH, whos name is Anthony so it totally worked out. But my little sister is having a boy in April and naming her son after her fiance... it will be AJ. I don't care though, because we are done having kids.
ETA- I totally forget! I LOVE the name Vayda and I really wanted to use it for Syd, but DH didn't love it. My sister got a kitten a month ago and named it Vayda. UGH!
hudson, jackson, sawyer all sound ridiculous with our last name.
i love the name Parson, but it's an ex's last name.
We really wanted to name DD Kacey, but my cousin's name is Kaycie, so we decided against it even though we never see her.
Olivia or Oliver. Our last name starts with an "O". OO is just too much for me. Any other letter- ok. But not two O's. Brings up too much of a Bond thing- OO7.

Zachary, Alexander and Benjamin. My 3 all time favorite boy names. DH comes from a very large extended family and his cousins have used all 3 of those names on their children. Plus now w/ DD2 being Alexandra, we couldn't have an Alexander too anyway
Good thing we keep having girls LOL. Though I also love Sophie and DH's cousin named their daughter that..
BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09.
TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

My sister named her DD Vayda! I have only heard of one other person mention possibly using that name (and it was here on the Nest, well on the Baby Name board!).
I used to love the name Emma, but my parents have a dog named Emma.
Jacob (nn Jake). I love the name, but I dated a guy for 2 years with that name and DH would never let me name a child the same name as any of my exes.
Luke. DH's high school best friend had a little brother with this name and apparently this guy was too annoying to DH for us to ever consider giving our child that name.
Graham, Van, Tanner. We have friends with all 3 of these names.
Marley for a girl. Say it with my last name and you will LOL. It just will not do. Oh, and also so many people now associate the name Marley with the dog so....nah.
Marley and your LN did make me LOL. She'd marry young just to drop that name.

I like the name Jeremy for a boy, but that was my BF when I met DH. I also love Henry, but DH absolutely hates it and since he had two dogs named "Hank" and "Jake" growing up we seriously can't use it now that we have a Jacob.
For girls, I absolutely LOVE the name Carys, but our last name is Davis and that just sounds horrible together.

I love Molly, but our dog's name is Milly, and that would be too confusing (for us, our dog, and our little girl!)
This is our problem, too! I love the name Oliver, but our last name is Over____, and that is just a tongue-twister.
I also love the name Maren (Maw-ren), but dh can't stand it (says it reminds him of Marlin the fish). Felicity is also a beautiful name, but once again, dh vetoed it!
