As we all learn what "Team" we're on, please include your EDD! Thanks so much!
Here is our check-in for everyone with a due date in May 2010. If you would like to be added please post your bump name, real name (optional), age (optional), and your EDD (expected delivery date). If we missed you at the last check in please post again.
If anything has changed, like your EDD after an ultrasound, please post an update with your original EDD so you can be easily found on the list.
If you are listed in the due date unknown list, please update your due date for us so that you can be added to the correct date.
Check-ins will be Mon, Weds, and Fri mornings. A link to the Check-in will be posted in the late afternoon/early evenings of Check-in day as a reminder. Feel free to check-in any time that day. Give us a general update on your progress and anything else you would like to add. We will have a question of the day as well.

I plan on having DH and maybe my mom- we are stationed in Germany, so it is a little tricky figuring out plane tickets, especially since this is our first. I am betting we go late. So, it will probably be me and DH will more certain plans that my mom be here after the birth.
It's just going to be DH and the necessary medical staff. I'm having a repeat c-section, but even with DD, I only planned on DH being with me. In my opinion it is not a show and no one needs to see me like that (pushing).
I actually wouldn't mind if others watched my c-section though, not that they will or that anyone wants to.
With DS, I had only planned on having DH and my mom. My mom was basically only there to keep DH calm, lol. Anyway, I ended up being induced due to pre-e and was sent straight to L&D from my 38w doctor's appointment. My older sister was with me at my appt and then came with me to L&D. I told her that she could hang out with me in the room all day with DH and my mom, and then leave when I started pushing.
Well, by the time it was time to start pushing, I could care less who was there. I told my sister to stay if she wanted too and I was SO glad that she did. I ended up hemorrhaging after birth and passed out. She helped to keep my mom and DH calm and held my hand through it all.
So, after that experience, I asked DH and my mom again. And then I'm going to let my little sister come in with me. She actually does plan on leaving when I start pushing (so she says), but I don't care.
It was such a great experience to have DH, my mom, and my sister keep my company while being induced, that I want the same thing again.

you know I haven't even thought about it yet I think maybe just DH. But I like to play things by ear we will see what happens when the time comes.
QOTD: I plan to have DH and my Mom. My Mom is 4 hours away, so we will call her as soon as we know I am def. in labor, and hopefully she'll make it!! She was such a big part of DS's birth and I don't want her to miss our little girl coming into this world!! I think DH's parents will have DS, uless they really want to be there as well, and then I'll have to find another arrangement for him....
Just DH. Last time around there were so many people in there with DS being a preemie. I would love just a few medical personal instead of entire NICU team.
Due date is listed as May 5th, but it is really May 2nd. Boy

Probably just DH while pushing, but mom, BFF, and MIL will be welcome during labor if they make it in time (they all live 3-4 hours away)-- I'm sure DH will need the back-up to help me through the contractions :-)
