I have to admit that you do look bad when you make up spellings. I just don't get it. Why do that to your child? So they have to CONSTANTLY correct everyone their ENTIRE life?

Re: dissagreement on names
I like Nico for a boy. Very cutting edge and obviously I prefer this spelling.
I also think Isabella is pretty, but I prefer the s over the z.
How do you say Jager? Like the liquor or like Mick Jagger?
jager is pronounced like mick jagger, but were going to spell it with one g instead of two
Why? I don't get people making up how you spell names. You just seem illiterate when you do that.
I like Jagger, but I wouldn't spell it "Jager". That's going to remind people of Jagermeister. It also means Hunter in German I believe.
I like Nico or Niko for a boy, not really for a girl. And I agree with Isabella - with an S rather than a Z.
To go with Jager, though, I immediately thought of Jager James.

They're all awful. ?And misspelled. ?And made up.
Get yourself a baby name book and start over, imo.?

Based on rules of phonics and spelling Jagger with the short a (like Mick Jagger) really needs to be spelled with 2 g's.
Otherwise, you have Jager (Jay-ger). The vowel consonant e pattern makes the first vowel a long one.
