Question about lactation cookies...

If you have tried them, how many did you eat a day and how soon did you notice an increase in your supply?

I found the recipe online but it didn't say how many to eat a day. Some of the sites say one a day and others say 4 a day!

Mmmmm....lacation cookies! Which ones are you making?

They never worked for me, but nothing did. They are super yummy though!

It's the recipe from recipezaar.com It was the first one to come up when I googled them. They are oatmeal and chocolate chip. Sounded good......... until I added the brewer's yeast. It said 4 tablespoons and to add more if you're trying to increase your supply. I may have added too much. They are terrible!

Oh no! I bet it was too much yeast--I did 2tbs in mine. They were yummy with just a hint of nuttiness.

Oops! I did 6 tablespoons! No wonder they are so gross! Hmm, maybe I'll make another batch.

I added 2T of Brewer's Yeast and thought they turned out pretty well. I think the "dose" was supposed to be 4 cookies/day and I ate ~5 cookies/day. I didn't see much of an increase in my supply while I was eating them, but my supply is much better now (1.5 weeks later)...probably not related though.
