Sure, it's possible. With a high def ultrasound machine and a good tech it's possible. It's just that not everyone gets high def ultrasounds. Usually just high risk and very up to date OB offices.

I agree... a little too early for all the detail. ?Plus at 13 weeks, the baby's eyes are still moving towards center... this kid in the US has eyes that are already correctly placed on it's head. ?In my 3D ultrasound at 12-14 weeks, my bean still looked like an alien. ?:)

Could be the umbilical cord. I agree with pp, 13 weeks might be too early for that size male organ

There is a website actually where they show male and female genitals on a 12-14 week fetus and they both look like boys. Girls clits stick out like that because the lips haven't formed over them. The only way to know is because a girls points down and a boy points up. I wish I could remember the website.

It is possible. I would say that u/s looks somewhere between 13-16 weeks. My 12 week u/s of my little girl looked kind of similar to that. I think that u/s could be from 13 weeks but I don't think it is showing gender. Those in between the leg shots look similar from boys and girls at this point.

i highly doubt it. its hard to see that much detail inthe gender and i dont think you could see the brain either at that point. i couldnt. but maybe the equipment was more advanced? i think asking a dr would be best.

These are my 15 week 3 day pics those look way more advanced especially the 3d face picture!!! When you do an early 3d u/s you get the whole body not just the face. So nope at least that one I don't believe it to be that early!

Actually, you can find out the sex as early as 12 weeks.

But usually it takes a trained tech, not some strangers on a message board.

I found out we are expecting a boy at 13 weeks 4 days. There is no denying it. There is was...clear as day!
