Yay!! 40 week appointment..

Good news: I'm now 3 cm dilated/ 80 % effaced

Better news: There is an end in sight! My induction is scheduled for 9/15 if she doesn't make an entrance before them! I feel like I have hope... there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I don't know how some of you girls make it to 42 weeks w/o losing your sanity...

    I'm so happy to see posts like this! I am absolutely miserable and this has been the longest that I've been pregnant, so going beyond 38 weeks is a new thing and very uncomfortable thing for me! I'll be seeing the doc today and will politely ask to be "stripped". If she says no, then it's good to know that going beyond my "norm" is okay...:) Shanks for the post!
