From what I understand, the "IUD BFP" joke did not come about from anyone who got pregnant with an IUD in, but from someone (or multiple someones) who were TTC with an IUD.
Biiiiiig difference. And of course it's possible to get pg with an IUD. That's why the effective rate isn't 100%.

i'm sorry to have hurt anyone's feelings by bringing up a pregnancy that happened due to failed BC, but just because this happened to me does not mean i caused anyone's TTTC. no need to be rude to me just because.

This. As soon as the OP explained she thought it might be dislodged people were more than understanding.
I had to chuckle. My BFF's neice and nephew has this as their childs middle name. Its heaven backwards. Their child was born with spineabifida...not that it changes anything it was the firs time we had ever heard the name and it took weeks to figuire out the heaven part.
So...I guess I am never going to get knocked up????
