stolen from 0-6: What do you waste your money on?

For some it is household appliances. Me it is gourmet food and clothing.

Is it a luxury car? Eating out? Getting your hair done?

Something that you could (or should) go cheaper but don't.

  • I waste tons of money eating out because I'm to tired/lazy to cook.
  • eating out and clothes

Eating out. I've cut back sooooo much due to money being tight but it's really hard for me. I hate cooking or trying to figure out what to eat.

This. Or because I'm never home.

  • At this point I waste it on pedicures since I get short of breath attempting to manicure my own feet.... otherwise good wine and expensive cheese yummmm:)
  • Expensive beer.

    When not pregnant, of course.

  • eatting out.  I hate my kitchen and refuse to use it.

    target...anything and everything in target...

cant get out of there without spending at least $100 - ugh lol

  • Blech... apparently vacuums, although I'm still not sold.

We really don't splurge on a lot.  This is the first over extravagant thing we've bought.

  • It used to be eating out, but now that we're down to zero funds, zero income, and past due bills... there's no money to waste. Literally.

Well, forty dollars. But that's going to gas in the truck so SO can get to job interviews and I can get to the doctor.

  • We waste a lot of money on our animals...especially the horses.

We also have a 3rd vehicle that we don't *need* but we wanted (again for the horses).  That is a huge monthy payment with insurance, it's a 2006 ford f-250 King Ranch 4 door diesel truck....so not necessary but I freaking love driving it around.  It's a waste of money but it makes us happy.

Oh, and I have an unhealthy obession with Bath and Body works and White Barn Candle Company.

This. :) I love me some good beer.

Oh, and toilet paper. Crappy(ha!) toilet paper makes my bum sore.

  • Money to waste? What's that??
  • Would a mortgage count? Single family homes in DC are expensive.

  • Home milk delivery from a local farm. Nothing like fresh milk

When not pregnant, good beer. I NEED microbrews.

  • Earings and make-up.

  • I've been thinking about this and I can't come up with something. I need someone to look at our spending and tell me what is a waste, haha.

we don't eat out much, i don't get hair/nail/spa treatments, we don't have cable, neither of us are shoppers. we do spend a lot on our pets by nature, with vet visits, food, and treats.

we are getting real professional portraits done (not a chain store) and so those are more expensive, but to us its not a waste at all, and I would much rather have those than a lot of things.

so where does it all go???

  • Eating.  Totally.  That's definitely our worst expenditure.  Secondly these days would be clothes - I'm realllllly searching for something to make me feel good about myself.  lol.

Obviously, our pets are expensive, but I don't really see a way around that...

  • We (husband and I)  buy alot of organic food, so that gets kinda pricey.  And Sam's Club!  Every single time we go there, we spend at least $200.

I like to buy make-up, hair products, and skin care like lotions and lately, belly butter.

My husband is always buying video games!
