My husband's late grandfather's name was Sam and it's really important to him that we use his name for our DD. ?I'm not a fan of Samantha but I love Sam and Sammy. ?I just came across Samona...anyone heard of this name? ?Any thoughts??
Hi, I'm not certain if I'm supposed to be posting on this board yet, but I have heard of this named but spelled differently in Italy--Simona. I think the name is really pretty spelled with an i, but that might not meet your "Sam" requirements.
GL!

Never heard of Samona but it seems like a fine name. I know a girl name Sameera. She is Indian so I'm not sure if it is a common name in her culture or not.

It sounds like a derivation of Simona... Samona looks like the girl scout cookie.
What about Samara?
Samara! It's my BFF's name.
Mmmmm....samoas....
My cousin's name is Samota (Sah-Mah-ta). I think that's how she spells it... i haven't seen her in about 8 years.
What wrong with Samantha!?!
I've never hear of it, just Simone. But I like it!
