When did your LO get more efficient BF?

My little dude is still doing 15-20 mins per breast, both breasts @ each feeding......just wondering if this will start to shorten anytime soon or if I should be doing anything to shorten?  I have no clue....  TIA

    A couple of weeks ago.  Up until then it was 20 minute nursing sessions.

    Nope, I think it was almost 3 month when DS started doing 15 on one side only then finishing. But he will still occasionally suck for 1 hour at night before he goes to bed... I think it is more of a comfort thing, or maybe it is how he cluster feeds.

    My son's a month and a half and I've notice shorter feedings already.?

    Before he would eat 15-20 and would fall asleep and I'd have to wake him up to keep eating... and he's continue to suck.

    He just started to stop on his own (while awake) after 10-15 (averaging like 12 minutes really)?

    DD was 4 months, she went from 45 minute feedings to 10 minutes almost overnight.

    DS is at about 15 min and only eats from one side.
