Does Graco Snugride Expire?

I got our infant seat from a friend...BUT does it expire? I can't find the info on the seat anywhere? I am wondering if its going to be any good for the next one...

    Yes.  They do expire as the plastics can wear over time and not support as well in an accident.  Usually there is a sticker with the manufacturing date on the seat somewhere...or you could probably find the model # and call Graco and ask if they might know.

    it's on the underside of the seat.  You may have to move the little lip of cover that goes over the feet part.  Mine expires December 2014.

    Its packed away now, but I registered it online at graco. SO I think I will email them. I just dont remember seeing a expiration date.

    Ditto. It is imprinted on the plastic on the underside of the seat.
