Probably a dumb question...

When you take your DC swimming, are there special diapers they wear with their suit? Or just the regulars?

I realize this is probably a dumb question, but I have no idea!

    They do sell swim diapers.  :-)

    I should add, if you use regular diapers they will soak up a lot of water and get HUGE!

    We use a swim diaper and a swimsuit with the sort of plastic-y pants liner - like the ones at Gymboree. The double containment works well. Some pools require swim diapers, I think.

    and just a warning:  swim diapers are not designed to hold pee (or else they'd also hold water).  They just contain the poo.  So don't be surprised if you get peed on when your DC is in a swim diaper!

    They have "Little Swimmers." You can buy them at Wal-Mart, Target.. probably anywhere. I've used them with my niece and I've had no problems.
