Maternity Belts

Anyone try one of these for back pain? Do they work or are they just uncomfortable? Any suggestions as to type/ brand?

?My Doctor suggested i get one but guess i just wanted to ask around a bit before investing. Thanks!

    When I worked for Motherhood most of the mothers I sold them too LOVED them.  Some said the pain relief was instant and others said that it took a while but worked.  I guess it all depends on what type of pain and what the cause is.  Never hurts to try them, though!

    A former co-worker of mine mentioned that his wife would wear one around the house in the morning before getting ready. He said "sumo wrestler" is all he could think about. Hence my second thoughts.

    I had one and I hated it. It was itchy and I felt like my pants were always falling down. Maybe it is helpful to some, but not to me.
