Gassy Babies - Need Help

DD has had terrible gas the past two days.  She cries for a solid half an hour and finally passes gas.  She sounds like a grown man when she does it.  I feel so bad for her.  I am nervous about giving her Mylicon.  Did anyone give their baby Mylicon around 9 days old? If so how much did you give them?

    Mylicon is safe; our pedi recommended it with every feeding.

    We gave DD .3 .  We gave her Mylicon at 10 days or so.  Our pedi said it's completely safe.

    We started the gas drops around two weeks. Other things that help DS are tummy massage, changing his position (especially quickly) and bicycling his legs. He is one gassy baby!!

    I have a gassy baby too. I tried rubbing his tummy, laying him on me, bicycling legs, etc for about a week and a half. Everything was very temporary relief and he was crying for hours because of it. On the recommendation of the pedi, we did gas drops (we are using little tummys) today and so far he is much better. No more miserable fussy faces :( poor guy. The pedi and the box both say to give him .3
