Trouble TTC

Is it a full moon? Anyone else having one of those days?

So it's one of those days where nothing really goes right:

in the grocery store I ran into and knocked over a large display of sunblock... in the front of the store where everyone could see... and then a manager walked over to help and asked " are you all right?" Yes dude, just humiliated, lets move on.

I went to take the dog out for a walk, locked the door. Came back home and realized I forgot my keys.  Went into the garage to get the emergency key, turned around and realized the back door was wide open.

Had to stop driving on way to Dr appt as trunk light was on since I didn't close it completely after pulling the groceries out

And the nurse at my primary's office asked if I wanted HIV testing as part of my routine health maintenance (I was there for a physical). Then she said, but if you get pregnant they will test you anyway (apparently my RE has been keeping my primary up to date which is good!) THEN she threw in "I've been tested 4 times, for 4 pregnancies" WTF did you REALLY have to throw that in at the end.

Anyone else having a day like mine????

  • On days like that I go home, plant my butt on the couch and give up any hopes of doing anything productive the rest of the day.  Hope it got better for you!

    The short story:

until IVF finally led to BFP #1 in Nov

I had a lousy day too!  I'm hoping today is better.

    **Kids mentioned**

A friend broke her foot, so she can't be outside too much because the heat makes it swell in the cast.  So I took her two kids to the pool with some friends (who also have kids) as a favor.  My other friend who was there was introducing me to the four or five other ladies I didn't know.  They assumed the two kids I had with me were mine, and when I pointed out they weren't and that I didn't have any of my own, they got all condescending like I wasn't part of the crowd and said dismissively, "Oh, you will.  Just relax and it'll happen."  "Yeah, I just look at my husband and get pregnant - even after he got snipped!"  And then they start all talking about how flucking easy it is to get pregnant.  I kind of snapped and went, "Actually, at this point, it probably won't without some sort of medical intervention."

Didn't make any new friends that day...
    :-@
Ugh, I'm sorry, that's terrible.  I hope today is a lot better!
