I've been getting this since the changeover too.

This happened to me for the first time today as well.
I've been getting both.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
I got this today too.
I can't do Emoticons in Chrome, and last I tried, I couldn't GIF with Chrome either...
rachael_c26: LuckyDad:Try Chrome?I can't do Emoticons in Chrome, and last I tried, I couldn't GIF with Chrome either...
You can GIF with Chrome. You just have to manually place the IMG tags around the URL of the image.
You can do it, but you have to use basic HTML and put the url in between [*img][/*img] (remove the *). Safari's the same way with emoticons and gifs, so I've been doing it manually for a long time.

I'm on FF 23.0 beta, run a script blocker and block all ads- so, I'm pretty immune to fwckery. But, I can't tell you what's up, not about to try and duplicate it. ;)
I'd try blocking ads with whatever browser you're using, though- that's likely where the problems are coming from.
I use Chrome and have had no issues at all... I've also posted gifs before and didn't have an issue.... I use tinypic and copy and paste the Image code and it's worked..
I heart Chrome.
