If you make your own mac n' cheese, what sort of cheese do you use?
Do you add vegetables? If so, which ones?
Do you bake it, or do you just make the sauce and add it to noodles?
Do ever add chicken or pork or some other sort of meat to it?

But I don't top with breadcrumbs. It freezes well too.
I don't usually mix in veggies, but it would be good with some broccoli, for sure! I would probably just steam is separately, but actually mixing it in might make picky eaters more likely to actually eat it though!

I do one with hickory smoked gruyere and smoked gouda with white truffle oil. My dad does one with white cheddar that is yum too.
I don't add veggies or meat and it's baked.

I make one in the rice cooker by weelicious. It's good with a bit of chicken in it since it's made with chicken brother. I use whatever cheese I have. It's also super easy!

Do ever add chicken or pork or some other sort of meat to it? Lobster mac and cheese is my H's very favorite meal ever.
The secret to fabulous homemade mac and cheese is to skip bechamel and just melt cheese into reduced heavy cream for the sauce. Is it horrible for you? yes. But it's worth it. It's not like mac and cheese is a health food either way.

Chapter79:I do a mix of half cheddar & half pepper jack, love the kick. I always bake it, I can't stand stove top mac and cheese, LOVE the crunch when you top with panko/parm cheese and bake.
I do the half cheddar and half pepper jack too! So good! I also use crumbled cornbread on top instead of breadcrumbs. The sweetness of the crunchy cornbread, paired with the salty spicy of the cheeses makes my a happy girl!
1. Extra sharp white cheddar
2. No, veggies are always on the side
3. Add sauce, top with breadcrumbs and shaved parm, and bake
4. No meat
