Update: sick and more sick

DD2 is feeling better but still looks like a leper. She's been on antibiotics since Fri for scarlet fever. Lo and behold, DD1 came down with a massive case of strep yesterday and we made our 2nd trip in 2 days to urgent care while visiting Virginia from WA. It was so clear cut they didn't even do the throat swab for DD2. So my first visit back home in years has been filled with relatively serious illness. We still managed some fun with some pool time, Kings Dominion and several visits to my favorite bagel place. I think the sicknesses slowed us, which might've been better in the long run. I'm glad to head home and see DH and sleep in my own bed.

    Dang, you can't get a break! I hope you and DH stay healthy and the kiddos recover quick.

    Not the best vacation! I am glad that the urgent care docs were able to figure out e issues with both kids so quickly. I'd be stressed being away and not knowing the problem!
