Pregnant after a Loss

Lower movement?

For the past week or so LO has been throwing pretty strong kicks/punches all over my abdomen, almost up to my belly button, and sometimes could even see them externally. But for the past day or so, movement has been more concentrated right above my pubic bone, and not nearly as strong or often, it seems.

I know I'm still about a month away from doing kick counts or anything, but does this seem normal?

ETA: for those on mobile, I'm 23w5d

Re: Lower movement?

  • I'm on mobile so I can see how far you, but my baby has it's lazy days too. It freaks me out, but if I drink some water and lay on my side relax he or she will usually start moving around. My baby seems to be the most active right when I'm falling asleep at night.

  • I am only 19 weeks, but I feel her most days.  She will have a really active day or two and then kind of just hang out for a day or two.  I think that's pretty normal.

  • I get a lot of low kicks and elbows down low.  They are much more prevalent than the ones that are closer to my belly button area.

This is what was happening to me around 24 weeks when baby was breeched. Sounds normal.

I'm 25 weeks and Baby Lamb is breech as well. I've only ever felt kicks really low. Honestly I still don't feel a ton of movement and have never been able to see or feel him from the outside.

  • Thanks all! LO was transverse at my a/s, so that might be why I was feeling higher movement before. It's possible she or he's gone breech!
