Breast pump Question

So I am in the process of getting my breast pump and my insurance fully covers the Medela Personal Double Pump. I can upgrade for $50.00 to the Medela Pump in Style Advance. I have heard really great things about the Pump In Style. I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the Personal Double Pump and if they think it is worth the $50.00 to upgrade to the Pump in Style.

Thanks for your help

Re: Breast pump Question

  • I picked mine up a few weeks ago and it is labeled as a medela double breast pump but is a pump in style without all the accessories such as cute bag and such that make it the advance. I purchased a cute petinia pickle bottom bag made for pump in styles and now it's perfect!!

  • The only difference in mine and the PISA aside from color is that I didn't get a battery pack (but others on the Aug board said they did) and it is slightly bulkier and includes a cooler storage area in the bag, rather than a removeable one.

  • I'd pay the $50. I LOVED my PISA even after EPing for an entire year
