Re: UO Thursday

  • I really hate vanity sizing.

  • I think its weird that so many people opt to wear thongs for their favorite choice of underwear.  I find them so uncomfortable!

For my "real" UO: I know its "controversial" on TB when pregnancy is considered  full-term.  Well, I think its 37 weeks and I've been hoping every day since 37 weeks 1 day that this baby will come because I'm so damn uncomfortable!  There.  I said it.  Now everyone can hate on me.

No hate from me. I was over it by that time as well.

I wish people would stop posting every tragic, horrible thing they know or hear about.  While it's sad that someone on your block has cancer, I do not need to know about her stage, treatment and ages of her children.

I think pubic hair is nasty. I Naired my husband's chest and back for the first time last night. I think it looks so sexy! I also think the only hair on a woman should be on her head and eyebrows and I guess light hair on forearms. That's it and nowhere else.

I don't really care what other women do with their bodies, but I sure wish the only hair I had was on my head!  Too bad it's such a PITA to have to keep it that way.

I disagree so so strongly with this. And I hope it really is an UO and that others don't agree with you. But alas, it's probably not much of an UO.

I think a completely bald vulva (still feel perverted saying vulva) is too child like and therefore weird. If you want to trim it all up by all means, but bald is just.... I don't know, weird to me.

I also like H having body hair, it's a minimal amount and nowhere looking like a bear (that I don't care for) but I do not want him shaved or naired at all. Blech.

The problem with this is women are supposed to have pubic hair. Little girls don't. This is a mentality created by the porn industry.

That being said, if DH had a hairy back, I'd nair the shiit out of it.

I prefer to not have any hair below my shoulders, but I don't find having hair gross on other women.

There really needs to be an industry standard. I'm sorry if you get butthurt over the number, but as a fat person, it's really frustrating to have to try on an array of sizes because on company says I'm a 16 and the other says I'm a 24

I think completely bald 'down there' is weird too.  Fortunately my husband hates it.  The poor man is so hairy it's uncomfortable.  I naired the *** out of his back this weekend and he looks fantastic!  He has broad shoulders and a great back and it's great to see it again.  He also thinned out the chest and other areas.  We had really let that go since Daniel was born.  We let a lot of things go but we're getting them back!

Eh, I'm guessing you're interpreting it wrong.  I think people just have different perceptions of what comfortable means.

Some people wouldn't be comfortable without multiple vacations a year, new cars, big houses, etc.  Others are comfortable with a scaled back lifestyle as long as all of their bills are paid.  I'm not surprised that there's a good bit of variation in opinion.  It's bound to be that way.

    Yes. . My husband agrees.

I will go a step further to say a man preferring it bald kind of freaks me out.

I  think it doesn't really matter if you have a loading strip or are all natural as long as you and your hubby are good with it and I don't have to see it in a swim suit.

I do, but it wasn't them lol. There was a whole article about kid's movies being vulgar, violent etc. That the industry is phasing out G rated movies. Brave was one of the movies listed along with Madgascar 3. But 1 and 2 was okay. Wtf?

I kind of agree with this.  I am glad that we can go on vacations and not have to worry about it.  If we couldn't, would it be the end of the world? Of course not.  But I think we would wish we could and likely be thinking about how we could be more comfortable financially.

  • This is probably not a UO but I am going to post it anyway.  There is this girl on Facebook I went to high school with and for about a month now, she has given relatively graphic updates on the status of her kidney stones on at least a daily basis.  I really don't want to know about this every day.

This is what I have issue with. If I can't see it that's fine... But far too often I can see it at the pool or beach... Please don't put your forest in my face. If you choose to be hairy please don't scar me for life.

In ALL my years going to public pools I have NEVER had someone put their private in my face, ever and if they did my last concern would be if it was hairy or not.

I don't think anyone wants to have their bathing suit move in the wrong way and have their vulva hanging out, but honestly if your bathing suit covers that little or is in the wrong way I don't care if it's bald or hairy, that's not something I want to see.

But are vacations needed for comfort?

I guess I'm on the opposite end, I found some of the answers very privileged and snobby. Do I want vacations? Yep! But if I don't have them, I'm not uncomfortable. I felt like a lot of people mistook comfort for plush.

I can be comfortable on a $500 mattress. But I can be more comfortable on a plush pillow-top.

  • True story: my most recent Brazilian I went to someone new. I usually leave a strip. Well, we were chatting and then she was like, "I'm done. I'll meet you out front". I glanced down...she balded me. I had the Telly Sevales. I was speechless. I scurried out to the car convinced everyone knew. Lol. It's weird and I miss my strip!
