Sooooo we've retried swaddling for the last two nights and we got a five hr. stretch on Monday and last might she did four hrs. This from a baby who had never slept longer than 3 hrs!!!! So I am so glad you ladies convinced me to try swaddling again. I don't think I could live without the swaddle me blankets and we have a miracle blanket arriving in the mail today!!!!

Also the sprout app has changed my life. I feel like I actually have some sense of what is going on with her now. So thanks to whoever mentioned that.

    I tried using one of our very many swaddle blankets again the other night, but he didn't sleep any longer than usual. But after reading this, I will try again tonight! It would be nice to put some of those Velcro swaddle bags to good use.

    She used to get hysterical whenever she was swaddled so I thought the ladies talking about how awesome swaddling was had special babies. Turns out she now loves swaddling and it cures her of getting over excited and not being able to fall asleep. Even when she wakes up as she's passing out she just closes her eyes and drifts off. And I've noticed it's cut down on her nighttime noises and wiggling. Next step...getting her in the basinette.

    We love the miracle blanket. It totally calms him, helps him fall asleep on her own, and keeps him quieter at night. Glad swaddling is working for you.

    The miracle blanket is good, but my daughter kicks her legs out and it does her loose by the morning from her wiggling around.
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13
