Parenting after a Loss

Favorite type of clothing

What is your favorite type of clothing to put on LO?  I am addicted to "creepers", rompers, and sunsuits.  Anything one piece is awesome.  I am weird about always putting DD in shorts/pants/a skirt when in a onesie which makes it more of a pain.  Zutano has a really cute one piece a-line jumper that I wish wasn't so expensive or I would have a closet full of them!

Re: Favorite type of clothing

  • I LOVE ROMPERS. They are so easy and so stinkin' adorable.

  • Dressing my kids is definitely a...passion of mine! DS is getting less and less willing as he gets older to let me pick things out, and instead prefers his under armour and sport team tshirts. I was mildly heart broken this year when he fought me about wearing a nice button down and khakis for school picture day. He insisted that his Redskins jersey was dressy enough if he wore his Sperrys. ::sad momma face:: DD2 is super fun, she loves tunics and leggings and sweater dresses. She has been living in Maxi dresses and sundresses this summer. She got a pair of gladiator sandles for her birthday and proclaimed them "fabulous". I love putting the babies in rompers and "fancy" onesies. Anything with more than one piece is just too much to handle these days!

  • I'm right there with you! My mom and sister get so mad b/c they buy dresses with bloomers or shirts/pants and I rarely use them. I just get really tired of pulling tops down and readjusting their clothes every 5 minutes.

  • I love one piece outfits like sundresses, rompers and sunsuits.  DD is so skinny that it is really hard to find bottoms that fit right.  I am not looking forward to cold weather again.

  • Last summer, it was onesies or rompers all the way.

Now she has so many cute outfits that I can't pick just one.  I'm starting to like dresses but I still love the denim shorts that I found at childrens place with an embroidered flower on them.  But we stopped using onesies about when she started walking.

  • Last summer I was all about the onesie with pants/shorts. This year, DD is all over the place crawling and cruising, anything with extra snaps takes too long to put on. She's in a shirt and diaper most of the day. Shorts go on if we're going out.
