Hips hurt when sleeping?

I'm a stomach sleeper and have noticed the last few days that my hips really hurt when I sleep on my stomach. I can't get comfortable any other way so I'm hoping it goes away :/

You should start training yourself to sleep on your sides, after the first trimester you can't sleep on your stomach
  • And you also won't be able to sleep on your back.

I had posted about tummy sleeping and someone mentioned getting a body pillow. Maybe that would help in your case.

  • No, but by the end of my last pregnancy I would wake up multiple times a night in serious pain from my hips. This is what I'm dreading the most this time around.

  • That's a bummer! I'm sorry! I'm pretty much a side sleeper and can't sleep on my stomach, every time I do I wake up with a back ache.

  • Guess I'm going looking for a body pillow and starting side sleeping! Lets hope this works cause I can only imagin it getting worse the further I get.
  • My hips hurt all the time too! This didn't happen until late in pregnancy last time
