1. My kids love fruit and aren't 100% sold on veggies (there are a few they'll eat, for sure, but it's a limited list). Is it true that it doesn't really matter whether they get a lot of fruit or veggies as long as they're getting several servings of one or the other? I know sugar intake needs to be taken into consideration, but nutrient-wise, they're pretty much the same, yes?
2. Aside from cut up fruits and veggies, what other non-refrigerated healthy snacks are there? The post about crackers has me wondering WTH I'm going to feed my kids when they're not in a daycare with fridges.
