*** & Moan Tuesday

First,I thought it was Wednesday.Second, someone ate ALL the bacon I had stashed for my BLT today and third,my entire toenail on the 3rd toe ripped off earlier on one of Connor's blankies. It hurts!!!Crying Forth, without a toenail I guess I won't be getting that pedicure I had planned tomorrow.

In summary,I don't know what day it is,I am HANGRY for bacon and my foot is fugly.

Re: *** & Moan Tuesday

  • :( no bacon? That is a rough day, lol

I guess my *** is that I am sick and tired of strangers calling my daughter a "he"...I do have fun making them feel uncomfortable when I correct them (I try to be a smart aleck about it) but why can't people just say "what a cute baby" instead of "aww, he's so cute" ?

  • I am not looking forward to escorting DH to his first Al-Anon meeting Friday after work because I know he won't go if I don't make him and even though I'm pretty sure he's going to screw up, again, I did promise to give our marriage another shot so.... off we go.

We get this too and it is so annoying!  She doesn't have any hair, so I guess i can see where people might get confused.  But I always dress her in girly colors.  Does the pink not give it away people?  I also enjoy correcting them and making them uncomfortable.

nbsp;I'm adding TMI Tuesday to amp; Moan Tuesday... I really hate that sex is still excruciatingly painful. I know it is probably because I'm breastfeeding and my estrogen levels have always been low and are probably just at complete rock bottom right now, but it really, really hurts so I pretty much avoid all intimacy at this point because after 7 months I just associate it with pain. Doctor's appt in 2 weeks, and I'll talk about it with doc then, but I'm even dreading that because I know the pap smear is going to also be excruciatingly painful : nbsp; And on a less TMI note the dogs needs to stop running through the giant dirt pile from the storm shelter installation fiasco and then running all over my newly mopped floors. :

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's still avoiding it.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to complain about the bridezillas on the knot. We've decided to make our little family legal, and picked the first Sat in Sept. for our wedding. Since we haven't been saving for it, we are having a very modest wedding with about 30 people. So back to TK, there was a discussion of plus ones and I stuck up for a bride who didn't invite plus ones for everyone, and used an example of a friend who broke up with her fiance a month ago and has gone on three dates with a new guy. Given my the budget, he didn't get an invite. You'd have thought that I had two heads based on the reactions. Apparently not inviting her would have been better than forcing her to endure an evening without him. I'm still lost on that logic.

Yeah we've only dtd 4 times and it hurts initially, but I'm do dry when it stops that it doesn't matter, cuz there's no way my body will let me finish that way.

What a bunch of prudes. I don't get all the ridiculous over the rainbow crap people think about weddings nowadays. It's bogus. Like on four weddings. Cocktail hour with expensive appetizers and champagne, f that man. said like the dude.

Boo for the bridezillas! We only invited +1s for spouses, fiances or serious relationships....if you were single you didn't get an automatic "and guest" (though we made sure to invite people who would all know each other well enough so one didn't have to have a date either).

Mine...we're leaving for "vacation" tomorrow. DH has a work conference in a tourist town a few hours away from us and his work is putting him (and us) up at a nice resort. He has to attend the conference in the morning but then we're "free" in the afternoon/evening. It should be fun, but I'm not gonna lie; I'm kinda stressed about being away with the twins, just stuck in a hotel room for most of the time (I can't really do much with them, besides go for walks in the stroller, until DH is back and can lend another set of hands) and I'm worried about how they'll react to the change in routine as their sleeping patterns have just now started to even out a bit....again, gonna be stuck in a hotel room with them for 4 days. Don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I definitely have low expectations....on the bright side, it will be a change of scenery and I won't have to rush to make our condo "move-in ready" every day for showings. But yeah, it'll be an adventure....wish us luck!

Oh, and on top of it, I feel like I'm coming down with a cold and I think my cycles are coming back (finally! stopped pumping 2 weeks ago so not surprised) b/c I have cramps and a backache. Awesome. OK done whining now.

  • I'm gonna fall in line and also *** that I can't DTD :( We've tried twice, not happening. Scar tissue is too tight and painful. The Dr said the repair had healed at 7 weeks, and that the pain would go away. At 6 months I was finally referred back to the OBGYN that did my delivery. Now I got my appt-for September!! Seriously?! I say I have a problem at 7 weeks pp and I have to wait til 8.5 months pp to even see someone who can do something about it? Grr...

And I also hate bridezillas. I recall when I was planning I had someone on the knot jump on me for supporting a post with no open bar. We did a free drink card at each plate, plus cider on the tables, and according to the powers that be it was tacky. It worked for us-people could choose whatever they wanted, no one had a problem. Young couples aren't made of money, so unless the parents are paying, cost cutting is in :)
