Let us guide you along week-by-week!)
We went through this. Every baby is different, but it lasted about 2 weeks for us.
I am going through this now. It is TORTURE bc she was a great sleeper. I posted just below how baby rolling over is also equaling to her being so fussy. I have read that new skills make baby in a overdrive situation and can make them cry more etc for a few days.
Anyhow I would not put a blanket or any other object in crib especially bc my baby is totally into grabbing and putting things in her mouth and over her face.
Babies only learn to roll one way first and it can be months before they learn to roll from belly to back. My LO is ok sleeping on her belly until she tries to reposition herself at night and can't get comfy = waking up a lot more. I pray this doesn't last long. I am tired.
