Yay for non-awkwardness! Meeting web buddies IRL is always nerve-wracking.
The only time I've ever met a web buddy IRL was this gal I really hit it off with on another site. We emailed back and forth constantly for a few weeks, and then exchanged cell numbers and texted back and forth constantly for several months. Then like crazy fools, we decided to meet up- she flew to Texas from Pennsylvania and spent a few days with us. Her family thought she was crazy- I promised not to sell her kidneys in Juarez.
Thanks. I'm going to go out when I can again and do something to help. I feel stupid for being upset, my house is fine this time (and tbh, while ours did have damage before, it doesn't come close by a mile). I've also been involved in fundraising, and after seeing what will need to be done, what has been raised by us and others won't begin to touch what. Needs to be fixed. those poor people. Grrrr. Nana, where's your cute animal gifs when I need them?
It's upsetting for everyone in the area of a disaster. Don't feel stupid. It's really wonderful that you are helping those in need.

He's doing really well. I've been away because we were on vacation for almost 2 weeks. He was amazing on the airplane and for the 20+ hours of driving we did. It was a long trip but worth it because he got to meet all four of his great-grandmas.
Overall he is pretty chill though. We think he is in the middle of another growth spurt right now because he is just eating constantly. On the 4th we were at a neighbors house to watch the fireworks they were setting off. He fell asleep in the middle of it and started snoring. It was awesome.

Present. Watching Hell's Kitchen trying to get the baby to sleep. I dont know why he fights it so nuch. He will be dead asleep in my arms and as soon as I put him down, eyes pop open and it starts all over again. Ugh

It helps with the itchiness. I use apple cider vinegar. It great for the kids since there are no chemicals.
