There is more sugar in yobaby yogurt than in the plain whole milk yogurt. I buy the plain whole milk yogurt and mix in a fruit puree or cut up fruit.
Babies need the fat that is in whole milk for their development. The only way I would give anything less than whole milk at this age would be if the pedi told me to and gave me a good reason for doing it.
melody921:YoBaby has a TON of sugar. We use Stonyfield plain. I buy her whole milk just bc it's good for her to have the added fat right now.
This for us too. Plus, I just cannot bring myself to pay almost $5 for 4 small yogurt cups. We buy the big tub of Stonyfield plain and I mix in plain applesauce or fruit puree.
We buy Fage greek whole fat plain yogurt.

Just to clarify, the YoBaby PLAIN has the same amt of sugar as Stonyfield plain. It's the "other" YoBaby yogurts (with fruits) that have much more sugar.
My grocery store carries YoBaby flavored ones but not the YoBaby Plain. I don't want a huge tub of full fat yogurt sitting in my fridge either. Luckily, a small local farm makes full fat plain yogurt in 6oz cups, so that's what I buy for DS. I eat low fat plain Stonyfield and I buy the big qt tubs for myself.

Whoa, where do you live? At our local Target I but a 4 pack of the YoBaby for $1.82. What a difference!
