Ok sorry for going all Parenting on you guys today, but my anxiety is getting the best of me.
H and I have removed the side of C's crib so it's now a daybed. She's been sleeping on a cot just fine at daycare for a couple weeks, and she's done fabulous in the daybed. I'd like to transition her to a big girl bed sooner rather than later. Figure it will make the new baby thing less traumatic.
Would you A) go full toddler bed (that's with the crib mattress right?) for a year or two and then invest in a real bed down the road or B) just suck it up and buy a full mattress set, and use it on the floor (I refuse to buy a twin, I believe they end up just being a waste of money in the long run so I'd rather just get a full bed that she'd use until she moves out).
I'm leaning towards toddler bed just to save spending a large chunk right now (We're also moving end of August as long as all goes well with the house inspection and what not) and I'd like to save every penny I can until we've settled in. I'm totally making way more of this than I should be cause (thankfully!) I have a very easy going toddler who doesn't freak about change. She has done every transition great, and it's harder on me than her.
