You had a post up a while back about collecting certain toys that were good for stimulation and development.  I cannot, for the life of me, find the post, but I am trying to get some basics for my LO.  I think you mentioned blocks?

    I highly recommend a lion that plays music, it also comes in a panda.  My DS is fascinated by it.  I saw others in the post recommend it.  I bought ours at target for dd, but they still sell it.
