Ok so DD had her 4mo. apt today and the ped had the typical advice... Start solids now, rice cereal or oatmeal to start, etc. Now DD is not ready quite yet and has had reflux and mspi so I am nervous.
Right now I am leaning toward waiting at least a month, skipping rice for sure. I might try oatmeal but am not sold on it. I want to start with veggies and some fruits since they are easier on the gut. The ped said introducing earlier was better for allergies since waiting can cause the body to see it as foreign causing issues. Anyone heard this or is this more outdated ped talk?
Also, does anyone have a good list of an order for starting? I thought maybe there was a more specific method to the madness :
