Ok I had my 2nd csection and I'm recovering great except I haven't had a bowel movement since before my csection which was Tuesday morning. I'm taking a stool softener to help ease the pain when I do but i feel like I should have by now

Keep taking the stool softener, a lot.  And natural laxatives.  You can't force a BM after a C...but you need things to move along soon or it's going to be a rough go when it's time to go!

I had a suppository to get things going. Is that an option for you?

It took me about a full week, maybe 8 days before I finally had one. I took stool softeners the entire time so it wasn't so rough.

This. I wasn't allowed to leave till I passed gas and had a BM

Milk of magnesia. I took it for the first 3 or 4 days, and had a painless bowel movement each day. After that, I just kept taking the stool softeners, and I was fine.

I had my last c/s on a Monday (tomorrow will be 2w), and finally had a BM that Friday.

I had my cs on a Thursday, went home on Sunday, and didnt have a bm until Monday. Just keep taking the softeners!

It took me around 10 days the first time, and it was horrible when I finally went. The second time, I had them give me a suppository in the hospital so I wouldn't have to go through that again. It was tough then too, but not nearly as bad as the first time. 

I would talk to your OB to see if there is anything you can take to help move it along.
