I will judge the heck out of you for posting multiple versions of the same whiney complaint posts.

Also, I'm ridiculously scared of induction.

Hi kmcd! I keep wondering when I won't see you around the boards because you're busy having your baby. Hopefully soon, so you don't need to even worry about an induction!

  • I cried yesterday because I miss having an inside baby. I miss being the only one who couldfeel her. And I miss laying down and wrapping my hands around my belly. As much as I said I was over bring pregnant, I definitely miss it 3 days post delivery.

My FFFC is that I really dislike my MIL and wish the baby would be born while she's on vacation so she misses it. I know it's really mean, but that's how I feel.

ETA: FWIW, I have legit reasons for my feelings toward her that are the direct result of her actions.

I was so scared too! This is my first bump post after delivering via induction on Wed and I can tell you I think the worst part of induction is anticipation. You know your body will start having contractions etc but thinking about them coming is kinda torture as they start slowly. But by the throes of it for me I think it was just like other labors.
You will get through it and be so happy you don't have to wait around for your LO any more!

  • I want to like breastfeeding.  But it has been so frustrating.  My LOs were little and still struggle to latch (and stay awake) with a shield, and I think they get frustrated, too.  Plus, it kind of hurts and I am a gross, drippy mess.  So I guess my FFFC is that I have kind of had it with what should be a beautiful, natural process and would rather just spend the next 11 months pumping and supplementing.  Flame away.

  • I don't normally put much stock in this kind of thing...  But I REALLY hope there is some type of validity to the Full Moon Theory.

Also, I hope DD2 is born tomorrow so her birthday is 5-25.  DD1 is 9-29 and my nephew is 8-28.  Just thinking it would be cool.

  • Hey Ladies!!!

My FFFC...I hope I deliver in the wee hours of the morning so I get to squeak out another night at the hospital (like I did with DD). Its so nice to have someone cook for me and also to just rest.

This is so ghetto but I love the powder cheese mix from mac n cheese. Ive been known to stick my finger (my clean finger) in it and snag a taste prior to mixing it.

  • Mine is that I'm so angry with myself that I can't breastfeed. And it not that I actually can't, I'm not allowed to because of the heart medicine I had to be put on.

We did so good with feeding, his latch was good, my supply was good and we were really getting the hang of everything.

It sucks & I'm mad about it.

  • When we were in the hospital and the visitors started arriving, I felt like none of them were 'family' to LO and it was awkward for me.  I felt like she was mine and H's and they could all just leave.

On the same note, MIL drives me nuts. LO was sleeping the other day and MIL stopped by and was upset that the baby was coincidentally sleeping when she arrived. Yes, LO and I planned it that way, it had nothing to do with you not announcing your visit more than 10 minutes prior to showing up.

This exactly, except it's my F aunt and her husband. That is my FFFC. He always has some negative smart a$$ thing to say and she just falls on his every word like a love struck teenager. I don't want either of them at the hospital after LO is born. It's just so Garrett! You don't have to explain, I understand lol.

I hear you. This was essentially my FFFC last week. With twins it's just so hard. Hang in there.

  • During labour I didn't care if she was ok it literally felt like it was me against her. Now I am over the moon but while I was pushing her out I didn't care about having her I just wanted it to be over......don't judge me or tell me I have ppd I have talked to my MW and they say this happens when moms are really scared. Which i was...i was terrified of the whole experience. sorry moms who are waiting for their babies it wasn't that bad in hindsight i was just totally unprepared and hadnt really addressed the fact that i was terrified of labour.Just thought I would be as candid as possible on here.

Ditto. LO just can't open wide enough, so we have to use the shield on the rare occasions that I nurse. And that oxytocin that's supposed to be released by nursing? B.S.!

Unfortunately, I also hate pumping because my nipples are now at an angle that prevents milk from draining into the collection bottle...unless I sit hunched over, gripping both flanges and pointing everything downward. My back is about to go on strike!

I totally see why people switch to formula feeding.
