Let us guide you along week-by-week!)
plus1:I go in weekly for non stress tests. My son's heart rate is usually in the 140s. The nurse likes to see him get really active and to get his heart rate in the high 160s. What you saw today when you first got checked was the baby being really active and then had settled down at the end.
If your dr isn't worried, I wouldn't be either. Everything sounds normal to me.
This! I do the same and go in weekly for ST and the first time I sat and watched his heartrate like a hawk. I freaked when I saw it go to 175-180 and drop to 135 in a matter of seconds. Doc said "that's what I like to see". Its just movements. Just like us where we go jogging and then stop. Our heartrate is up and then is goes down.
Just follow what your doc said. Make sure you can feel about 10 movements in a matter of a two hour span is what I have been told.
