Sorry this post is so late. We've had a stressful week. :/
Harrison Crow was born May 6 at 4:56 p.m. via induction. He was 7 lbs 9 oz. and 19 inches long. He has daddy's blonde hair and blue eyes.
Labor was fairly short at 12 hours and pretty much textbook. Delivery, however, was a little scary. He didn't handle pushing well, and for a minute it looked like they may rush me to the OR for an emergency c-section, but with a 3rd degree episiotomy (holy ow) and use of the vacuum, they barely got him out. His cord had been wrapped around him three times and the pushing was tightening it, so he was in distress. Waiting for him to cry was the longest moment of my life.
We got to come home Wednesday night and had our first check-up Thursday morning, which revealed Little Man has jaundice. They started him on the at-home bilibed yesterday afternoon, and I have cried every hour since. It hasn't been easy.
Other than that, we have a healthy and happy baby. We are so blessed and so in love.
