Leni410:We introduced a nuk paci at 5 days old. She's now 8 weeks old ebf.
December PAL siggy challenge;
Ugly Christmas sweater
Night 3 home from hospital...at about 2am. She took it...I slept. She wasn't overly fond of that brand but did take it when upset for a few weeks. I kept trying other brands and she ended up loving the Mam brand. Mostly because it stayed in her mouth.
We finally introduced the Soothie last night, after about 3 hours of no sleep and a fussy newborn. I was not hoping to use one, but the lack sleep was really getting to us, as well as the crying. We gave one to Charley and she spit it out after she fell asleep. She's 6 days old today...
We are trying not to use one but only in dire straights...
2 weeks old, I've only tried a few times but so far she isn't a fan.
DS spent his first night in the NICU, and I saw that they had a pacifier in his basinette. Not sure if he even used it, but we did try several times ourselves at the hospital and at home and sometimes he takes it, sometimes he doesnt. it's very random.
we have a gumdrop soother from the hospital and a brand called "parent's choice" - he switches back and forth.
