Our friends handed down one of the old styles that was recalled. No straps and it's great! I think it was a dumb recall anyways... If people only used common sense...
We have an original without straps. I can't imagine how they would be necessary. My kid used the thing for months and never came close to escaping. He still likes to sit in it at 2, and still has a hard time getting out!
My mom has the old one with out the straps, she asked if I wanted her to et a new one since hers was recalled. No way I hate the straps. It's a shame parents are so careless
