XP What time does your LO go to bed?

DS is 7 weeks old. Based on his evening meltdowns, we've started putting him down around 7 pm. We swaddle him and put him in his crib and he goes right to sleep so we assume this is the bed time he's set for himself. He doesnt fuss or anything once he is put down. Does anyone else's LO go down this early? I was hoping he'd stay up a bit later so I could take advantage of his longest stretch of sleep which is about 4 or 5 hours. But it's tough going to bed at 7 or even 8.

  • He tends to pass out around 9pm and sleep the entire night. I am glad that his sleep schedule is starting to emerge.

Bedtime here is typically between 7:30 and 8.

I hear you on the sleep thing. I'm usually in bed by 9...even when I aim for 8:30.

  • On good nights most nights, she is down by 10:30 or 11:00. We are night people. More challenging nights around 1 am. That's difficult. She wakes up around 10 am.

She sleeps 1 5 hr stretch and 2 3 hour stretches usually

DD puts herself to sleep between 7 or 8, depending on her last feeding, occasionally 9 if she wants to eat again. She sleeps until 5, so I really wish she would stay up just a little later and sleep a little later in the morning, but I am counting my blessings right now and counting that as STTN!

  • G is usually down between 8-9pm, I'll feed him upstairs and keep the lights off and noise to a minimum. If it's closer to 9 or 9:30 (like it will be tonight), I'll go to bed with him, but if it's closer to 8 I usually use the time to get stuff done.

I have to update my siggy but he's 6 weeks old.

My DS is 7 weeks. We were trying to put him down between 9:30 and 10:30 but we found ourselves trying to keep him up so now we are starting our routine about 7:30 and he's in bed asleep by 8:30 or 9. We get a 5ish hr stretch than one more three hr stretch

  • DH and I are both night owls, mostly because of his work schedule (he does not get home until 11 PM) so DD has her last bottle between 10:30 and 11:30 and normally falls asleep after burping. She is normally in bed no later than 12:30 and sleeps 6-8 hours. Then if she is put back down after her morning bottle she will sleep another 2-3 hours. She will be 8 weeks tomorrow.
