DE Report Today

I called the nurse today and she was shocked that they didn't call me yesterday with the report. I was surprisingly calm yesterday so I didn't worry about it. They retrieved a total of 15 eggs and we received 8 (shared cycle). Of the 8, 7 fertilized...we are excited. ET scheduled for Thursday.

PS. The PIO shots are not fun. This is my first time on this med and my butt is in "knots"!

Re: DE Report Today

  • That is great news, congrats! My FET for DEmbryo is Thursday too. Good luck!

Agreed on the PIO shots. My tush hurts! I've been using a heating pad. Tomorrow I have to go get it done during the day and I will be bringing one of those hand warmers you use in the winter to put inside a fleece sock and tape it to my butt cheek to get through a meeting at work. Ouch!
SAIF/PAIF absolutely ALWAYS welcome to respond!
  • Great news!!

  • Congrats on the fert report!  Great rate!

As for the PIO - I always use heat afterwards and massage to make sure the knots disperse.  Sometimes you can't always do that, but it sure helps!!  Good luck!

Great news!  Like PP have suggested, be sure to use heat after the shot and give it a good massage, too. This really helps with the knots. GL!
