My son will be 12 months this week but due to an insurance issue, I wont see the pedi until next month. I am curious what everyone's Drs have said about this. If asked what a cow/sheep/rooster says, he will make the sound. He also says Bye Bye.
Mustardseed2007:yes, and by the way that is a lot of words at 12 months. More than expected.
apparently i'm the only one who doesn't count animal sounds as words.
that said, he knows bye bye and is obviously grasping language since he can to the animal sounds..i just don't count them as words.
Kimbus22:Yes they do. Good thing considering they're half my kid's vocabulary.
I'd say they're 2/3 of my kids vocab! (he has A LOT of sounds..)
