I'm at the beginning of my 2ww coming off my first IVF cycle.
I would love to hear all of your 1st time IVF success only stories.
I'm needing all of the encouragement I can get right now. I've been so positive up until today when I got onto some negative posts I wish I could "unsee"
Thank you all for the encouragement!! Can't wait to hear about all of your BFP's!

It's hard to do but try not to stress yourself out! Based on your siggy it looks like you had a good cycle! The 2WW is difficult but you'll make it through. Good luck!!

Our first IVF cycle was successful and now I'm pregnant from a FET from the same cycle. Good luck to you. The 2WW really messes with you, but trying to stay positive is a great thing.

I'm snuggled next to the result of our first IVF. She is 4 months and absolutely precious!
The 2ww is hell. I didn't POAS until we hung up with the RE after receiving the first beta. Then I POAS almost every day until the first u/s.
We had a less than ideal cycle, which was unexpected due to my labwork and AFC during my clomid cycles. It goes to show that you only need one embie! I had almost no pregnancy signs that couldn't be possibly attributed to the meds or stress (three tiny waves of nauseaand a horrible breakout).
Hang in there and hold on to hope! Good luck!
TTC Since 3/2010 Me-36, Unexplained Infertility, DH-35, all clear Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized, ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm! Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!
TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.
I had success on my 1st try. I had a day 3 transfer of 1 embryo, which I wasn't even sure really make it into my uterus as the transfer was not smooth at all! Good luck!
We had success with our first and only IVF. Hoping the same for you.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
We didn't mess around with any other treatments and went straight to IVF. We got pregnant the first round, transferred two 3 day embryos. I went on to have a healthy singleton pregnancy.
This process is such a roller coaster, but I think what helped me the first time was believing that I had no reason to think I wouldn't be one of the lucky ones. Good luck to you!
DD 1 was conceived naturally 6 years ago. So when we began trying for #2 we realized after the first 14months that something was wrong. In the end we found out that my husband was suffering from cancer on his appendix which lead to surguries and damage. So after dealing with getting him on the right path and healthy we got in contact with Shady Grove Fertility. They were amazing from the start. They gave us the option of IUI or IVF and after researching both we agreed to IVF.
The closest office to where we live is over an hour away (one way). There were many 5am drives and a few 3am drives, but each one was well worth it. The staff was always friendly and eager to answer any and all our questions. We began the process of IVF in September and we got a BFP on December 27th.
I wish you nothing bet the best and hope that there is good news in your future. Just when you think you can't stand that last shot, or the early morning appointments, know that it leads to the best gift ever. Fingers, toes and eyes are crossed for you.
