DD is small (just now 7 lbs at 6 weeks). We have been using disposable nipples (like the ones you get in the hospital) since day 1 on Medela pumping bottles. We tried the Medela nipples and they didn't work well for DD (kept collapsing). I would like to find a long term solution, the disposables get to be expensive and I'm not wild about washing and reusing them more than a couple times. We have tried Dr. Brown's, Tommee Tippee, and Nuk and none of them worked well for DD. Lots of gagging and spillage with the first two and she couldn't get anything out of the Nuk. I picked up a cheapie Gerber Essentials bottle at the grocery store and she did really well with it. However, I don't know about it being a long term solution since it doesn't have a venting system and it looks pretty cheaply made. Anyone use these long term and like them? Anyone who can recommend a little nicer bottle that would be similar to these? My cupboard is overflowing with bottles we don't like!
