Good Afternoon ladies! I just realized I've never posted an intro on this board before. DH and I were struggling to get our BFP so we sought the advice of an RE after 13 cycles of ttc. After an HSG we were able to get a BFP on Nov 5, 2012. We then experienced a m/c on Thanksgiving. I have to say that was the worst holiday I have ever experienced, but I am thankful that DH was a great support.
With our treatment with RE we discovered that I have hypothyroidism and that is one of the reasons attributed to our loss. I am now taking the medication I need to daily. 90 days after our loss I returned to RE bc AF never returned. This is when I found out I was pregnant. I had ZERO idea bc even though these two pregnancies were so close, they were so different.
At 17w1d we underwent genetic counseling bc my genetic testing revealed we had an increased risk of down syndrome. I do not know my biological father so we opted to do the testing. The level 2 u/s was inconclusive and I am to return when LO is 20w. In the meantime I asked for the NIPT which is 99% effective and non invasive. I haven't received any results yet, but I take comfort in knowing that LO is not at risk for any life threatening issues.

2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
