We stated tummy time once we came home from the hospital. While we were still at the hospital DD Would pull her head up while being burped so we figured tummy time was a go!
We've been doing tummy time since the day our LO was born. If you do skin to skin with your LO lying on your chest, that is considered tummy time. It is also a great way to bond.
My DS started tummy time on his own, before I even thought about it. He was born at 4:48 PM and by 9:30 PM he was picking his head up and holding it upright for 30 seconds to a minute at a time.
He's 1 month old today and can support his head on
