Seattle?

This doesn't really have too much to do with my LO, but I thought your opinions. My fianc? and I live in Southern California right now. He's lived here his whole life, and I've lived in California since I was 6. I really like it here, but my fianc? is tired of it. I can agree with him too that from our experience, a lot of the people who live around here tend to be pretty selfish (we've had a lot of problems with theft and people trying to screw us over, even though we live in a nice area). So we're thinking of moving. The idea of moving to Seattle was brought up even though neither of us have ever been there. Do any of you ladies live there? How do you like it? Does it seem like a good place to raise kids? TIA

This is going to be really really blunt so forgive me in advance but if your looking for someplace without people who are selfish and won't screw you over you need to find another planet. Unfortunately there are selfish and unkind people in all 50 states.
