Does anyone have a glider they LOVE?

Hubby and I are having a hard time finding a glider that is functional and not ugly.  I don't want to buy the standard, because I feel like it will be disposable furniture that we never use once baby moves into a big girl room.  I'd love something that functions great and is also stylish.

I know everyone said yesterday that they are glad they invested in a good glider, so I'd love suggestions!

 Thanks!!

We bought a big, cushioney microfiber rocker/recliner from Sam's Club before we had DD for under $200 (I think it was actually priced at $239 and they dropped it since they only had the floor model left at the time).  We figured this way, we

I agree it depends on your budget. OUr kids rooms are upstairs and our room is downstairs. So we have a traditional wood frame glider in the upstairs nusery which I really like actually. And then we have a rocker recliner in our family room (was DH's requ

I wound up finding a rocking chair at Ikea, since the space we have is so small that most of the "real" gliders I looked at were simply too large for our tiny apartment (and the few that would fit were so ugly that I couldn't make myself pay $600 or wh

I'm most likely getting the Dylan chair from Land of Nod.   I was there one day looking at cribs, and the sales associate talked me into sitting in the chair (after I looked at another chair) said it was the chair that the employees fight ove

We splurged and got a glider from Pottery Barn Kids.  It is expensive but it is also VERY comfortable and is a chair that we will probably put in our room after awhile.  We love that it looks like a normal comfy chair and not the traditional gli

Believe it or not, Target has some very stylish/functional options for under $500.

We purchased the Nurseryworks Sleepytime Rocker in the taupe color and absolutely LOVE it:

I got the glider and ottoman for Li's room from www.serenaandlily.com. It is very pretty, but I don't love the head rest, it feels a little too far forward. This time, I ordered a glider from Bellini. It looks the same, but I got different colors, and

We have a Best Chairs Storytime Patoka and love it.  Super comfy and not too big so it doesn't take up a ton of space in the nursery.

I bought the Graham Glider from West Elm. Love it! I am making a washable slipcover for it so the nice fabric stays clean. I plan to move it to the living room after baby grows up.
