First time TTC and a TMI question

Hey there! Hubby and I went off the pill a couple of months ago and this is our first month really TTC. 

Here's the TMI part. I have a really bad thing with germs/dirt. It's an issue but manageable for the most part. Basically, I just have to wash my hands/body a lot. I bathe twice + a day normally. More in the summer.  After we have sex, I always clean off really well. I've heard this can prevent pregnancy - or make it tougher. Any advice on this? Anyone else also HAVE to wash off and have experience with getting pregnant under these conditions? I've been forcing myself to wait 15-30 mins after sex before washing off. Would this be enough?

    No need to wait.  The sperm are headed to where they need to go.  You might want to read the newbie link/blog.

    I always clean up right after and I have three daughters so it clearly didn't make a difference for me.

    I always clean up after. It's just good hygiene. There's no reason to wait, your hubby's best are already on their way to where they need to go. GL!

       Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T
    SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
    BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
    Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!

    I always clean up afterwards, sperm isn't germy though? If it'll make you feel better, buy a pack of those flushable 'toddler' wipes, that's what I use. And sometimes I'll get a maxi pad on afterwards because uh...spermy leakage.
